The Ruca in Black from ZSIGMOND

Fluid shirt with arrow handcuffs made with vintage and contemporary fabric panels. The vintage fabric was originally used in headcarves, blouses or skirts in traditional Hungarian clothing. The contemporary jaquard fabric with its prickly botanical pattern and the floral vintage fabric play off of each other as equivalents from different centuries. The black colour and thorny pattern choices are inspired by stories about witches as told by the elderly in rural Hungary. The piece is reinforced with ribbon tailoring and finished with wolf tooth hem facings on the collar to strengthen the overall durability and longevity of the garment.
Every piece is made locally and ethically in Hungary. Modern fabrics are sourced from qualified European manufacturers.
