The Asym Hakama Pants in Black from Maharishi
Asymmetric wide-leg cargo pants, with a cargo skirt layer incorporated. Crafted from a black lightweight recycled nylon made in Japan, seawater-treated with superior shape-retaining characteristics.
Hakama trousers rose to prominence in Edo-period Japan. They were initially worn by higher classes of society, traditionally over Kimonos. Samurai had worn Hakama for protection, due to the garment allowing the wearer full range of motion and coverage when horseback riding.
